有洗衣精界愛馬仕稱號的 The Laundress 昨（18）於美國官網發出通知，要求消費者停用所有產品，僅提到部分產品存在較高細菌數，然而卻未公告實際受影響品項、批號，以及如何退換貨，台灣代理商也跟進公告要台灣消費者暫停使用產品，面對消費者質疑，僅回應仍在等待原廠回應。
The Laundress 美國官方社群，昨發出安全通知，告知消費者立即停止使用所有 The Laundress 產品，因為已經確定一些產品中可能存在的細菌，將會有安全疑慮。聲明中也強調根據調查，沒有發現造成任何不利健康影響。將盡快通報受影響產品以及如何獲得補償或更換。
代理商也於台灣粉絲專頁公告「針對11月18日美國THE LAUNDRESS官方網站群公告台灣代理商-100為保障每位消費者權益，建議即刻停使用所有THE LAUNDRESS產品10/10(台灣代理商:客林國際股份有限公司)目前已將所有產品於店鋪與官網下架，靜待我們與原廠進一步確認後，最新消息將於社群與官網公告再次感謝您的體諒。」
不少台灣網友質疑：「公告什麼事好歹也講清楚吧⋯⋯」、「是哪一批的產品有問題？已經買了很多次，請盡快公告。」、「以前用他們產品的時候，皮膚就常常起怪疹子。」、「這樣可以退貨吧？」官方僅回應「目前我們也在等待原廠的回應，在此之前，也請先暫停使用相關產品，如有消息我們會盡快與大家說明」。
